Starting G.A.P. Services was truly a blessing in October 2021. As a child, I saw my mother helping people all the time as a legal secretary to a lawyer in Inglewood, CA. She always had a helping heart, she was no non-sense, bold, and full of integrity. I remember being in her office once, feeding me and my sister some food while helping clients. Though she was still a mom, helping the community was important to her. I have similar traits to her as well: I love to help people, I am a no-nonsense person, and I stand for integrity. So, with me researching what she was doing and realizing I love Law, I sent out on a path to help people in my community. Who is my community? People who need services to close gaps in their lives but do not know how or where to obtain help.

Initially going to college for political science, I turned to Paralegal Studies in 1998. I found it to be best for my personality type since I love to work independently. Life continued to happen from 1998…birth of my 2 children, marriage, divorce, becoming a single parent, working full time for the government, dedication of my life to the Lord, and church work in the community. I obtained an A.A. in General Studies from El Camino College in 2007. I graduated summa cum laude from West L.A. College with a Certificate and A.S. degree in Paralegal Studies in 2021.

October 3, 2021 – G.A.P. Services was born. G.A.P. stands for God’s Anointed Paralegal. Our mission is to help all those that we can by providing quality services or referrals to those who don’t know how to close gaps in their life. Our work is based on knowledge of the community needs. Our services that are provided will help the communities we serve by making the vision & mission clear: Habakkuk 2:2-3.
